Walking the tide crack. even though the ice is almost a meter thick , it is still a dynamic enitiy. As the tides rise and fall , cracks such as these appear. Most can be safely negotiated is good surface difinition.

hey smitho! awesome pix. looks like u are having a crazy time there. so good that ive decided to come down! we are going to load up the venture with KFC, porn and a few fishing rods and come on down shuold take us about 3-4 years at the speed she does. probably stop off at the auckland islands for a feed of seal or albatross and then we'll peg it for casey station. got any spare bunks mr brewologist.
